13 different levels of functional consciousness are defined in ConsScale. Each level is characterized by architectural and behavioral criteria (see a summary of all ConsScale levels). See below for a description of the main features of each level, the definition of abstract architectual components, and the specific cognitive skills associated to the ConsScale levels.
